This weekend has been filled with rolling thunderstorms, and this was a cool shot I took from it.
Teresa and I walked around Fairmount Park, near the Japanese Garden area. We were too busy to head down to Washington DC this year to see the cherry blossoms bloom, so we had to settle for the ones in the city. Since I spent 4 years in DC and have been going down every spring, I have high standards. Fairmount Park is worth the trip since its close and one can walk, but given the choice you should head to DC to check out the Cherry Blossom’s around the tidal basin. Enjoy these shots.
This Friday, I was experimenting with the lighting kit at school and my friend Ashley was nice enough to pose for me. Equipment used: 2 Lowel Omni light with umbrellas and black velvet (inspired by some awesome work I’ve scene Jeff Tisman doing).
