Finger Lakes (Part 2)

|
This weekend, our friends Joanne and Chris joined us for a weekend of: camping, wine tasting, and hiking. We focused our trip around Cayuga Lake and Ithaca. We hiked Robert Treman, Buttermilk, and Taughannock State Parks. Along with hiking the two gorges that flank Cornell University. The water levels were the lowest I've scene them, which allowed us to climb right through the gorges with out worrying about slipping.

We did taste at 10 wineries during the 3 day visit: Cobblestone Farm Winery, Knapp Vineyards, Goose Watch Winery, Buttonwood Grove Winery, Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery, Thirsty Owl Wine Company, *Lucas Vineyards*, Americana Vineyards, Long Point Winery, and King Ferry Winery. (Yummy!)

The funniest moment had to be when Joanne found a piece of glass in Chris's icecream, and Chris just slid the check towards the manager and said "Sooooo...", and that one syllable took care of the bill.... Bravo Chris.
