Hudson River Valley

|
This weekend we visited the Hudson River Valley. We started our mini adventure at High Point State Park. From there we visited Minnewaska State park. Minnewaska is a great park with some of the best biking and hiking in the area, however the park is situated about 40 minutes from anything useful, so a morning drive is in order to access it.

Unfortunately / fortunately (depending if you ask me or my wife) we did not encounter any bears, I've been having some luck recently photographing them in Shenandoah, Alaska and the last time I was at the Delaware Water Gap, so I was a little disappointed not to see any.

We visited a couple of the wineries in the area on the Shawangunk Wine Trail. We found some interesting wines, however this trail does not compare to the Finger Lakes Region of New York at all.

Enjoy the photos
